Not Liking Everything: a new weekly series on Glasstire

Glasstire Southern California has asked one of my favorite critics, Catherine Wagley, and me to do a weekly series where we debate local shows, getting into why we like them and, more importantly, why we dislike them. I will re-post them here each week. The current shows up for debate at A.L. Steiner at Blum and Poe and Bart Exposito at Susanne Vielmetter.

I think this is going to be a fun enterprise. Often, written reviews can crush the candor right out of an honest reaction to art, such is the desire to be balanced and to not get into too much trouble. I doubt that Catherine and I will have that problem here and that is good thing:
